September is Spinal Cord Awareness Month! In 2014, the US Senate designated National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month as part of the Resolution 533, introduced by Senator Marco Rubio and co-sponsored by Senator Bill Nelson (both from Florida).

We are so proud to be honoring SCI Awareness Month
with our largest event of the year!

Our 7th Annual Charity Celebrity Golf Tournament & Dinner on September 30 with the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation (past alumni and present players attend), bring so many people together to rally for SCI. We are excited to raise awareness and funds not only on the golf course, but across the nation with our friends at ESPN Radio, on social media, and through the power of advocating for SCI for the entire month.

Pledge to support, and make a difference in individuals & families of those affected by SCI

After almost 10 years of working to change the world of spinal cord injury where every individual gets the help and support they deserve, we are genuinely touched by our supporters who believe deeply enough in our vision to give on a regular basis. Recurring contributions mean that our work continues and more individuals and families can attain the care they deserve.

We ask you to consider becoming one of those exceptional supporters by signing up for our monthly program. One of the biggest things we rely on as a non-profit is consistency so that we can continue to help people. By becoming a monthly donor you are helping us, our WWA Warriors and their families, build strength and stability. Learn More
